I am applying to the University of Maryland, John Hopkins University, University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Melon University, and the University of Deleware. I am intending to earn my PHD in Economics. This previous summer I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Puebla, Mexico for a month. I took two busniess classes at Universidad de Iberoamericana. It was a very wonderful and enriching experience for me. I believe that all students should take the chance to study abroad to expand their horizons. On a personal note I will be getting married in March of 2005. My finace' applied for and got her dream job in August of this year, which required her to leave our beloved Texas. She is currently working in the Washington D.C. area as a mathematician for the Dept. of Defense. I am so proud of her! Life is so amazing when you are ambitious and open to where it may lead you. I could not have asked for future to be more promising than it is. I welcome my future and the challenges of tomorrow. I will join my fiance' to live in Maryland after our honeymoon, thus a new and exciting chapter of my life is about to begin in a few short months. | ||

| Since I left office as the first Area VII Vice-President I have been working on school. I found that in the new millenium there is an increasing need for ethics in the workplace. Along with colleagues in my neighboring psychology dept. we have been doing research on how ethics and moods effect productivity and performance in businesses. The research took some time away from school, but I will be graduating from the University of Houston Graduate School with a M.A. in Industiral/Oraganiational in the Fall of 2005. People once asked why I chose philosophy as a major; I wanted to understand people, and how I could help us all be more efficient and build cohesive teams. Luckily I've figured it out. Then in August, I will move to Georgetown, TX and attend Southwestern University. | I am about to finish my second year of college at Johnson & Wales University studying Hotel Management, where I received one of the two full-tuition scholarships awarded last year. It is crazy how time flies. Now, I am working on my externship and having a blast! I have gotten heavily involved here as well. I am two time Senator for Student Government, which I will be running for Student Body President for next year, Vice President of Phi Beta Lambda, Vice President and maybe President of the Student Alumni Association here on campus, and various clubs and organizations that I sparatically get into ha! High School FBLA and being a state officer from 2005-2006 and National committee member, really shaped me and gave me skills and confidence that has gotten me where I am today!! I miss the experience and traveling opportunities FBLA always gave me! Have fun and enjoy =) | ||
